Overview
I designed and developed an interactive software simulation course for CNJ Technology to increase the consistency of documents provided for their clients.
Problem: CNJ Technology creates many technical Microsoft Word documents for their clients. Currently, the format for these documents has been inconsistent.
Solution: An eLearning course was developed to explain the benefits for using the Style "templates and add-in" feature to save time creating cohesive technical documents for their clients.
Tools: Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia, Audacity, Snagit, Canva, Microsoft Word
Highlights: Interactive software simulation, free form quiz, hotspots, triggers, layers, and states
About the Project:
Creating Styles in a Microsoft Word Document eLearning course was created to showcase a real-world problem-solving learning experience. First, I started with a needs analysis, asking questions to understand the desired outcome, target audience, knowledge and skill gaps. Then, a business goal was developed with measurable learning objectives. A design document was created with an overview of the course. I wrote the voice over script and designed the storyboard which incorporated feedback. Once approved, I recorded the training video in Camtasia and developed the interactive step-by-step Try It software simulation in Storyline. To evaluate the learner's success, feedback was given in the Try It sections and three multiple choice and three apply questions were assessed. A job aid was developed for reference.
Business Goal: CNJ Technology will use the Style template in Microsoft Word to increase the consistency of documents provided to their clients.
